Who is responsible

Mariia Kozlova, [email protected].

What we collect

When you join the waitlist: your email address, the time you joined, and which version of the consent text you agreed to. Nothing else; we don't store your IP address.

Why

To email you about the launch and new features of Explainable Monte Carlo. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given with the tick box “Send me launch and feature news.”

Where it is stored

The list is stored in a Cloudflare database located in the EU. Cloudflare hosts this site and keeps the list on our behalf; no emails are sent from the database. Cloudflare is a US company; your request is handled at its server nearest to you, which may be outside the EU. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Emails from the launch on

Before the launch, we move the list to an email service provider and send you one email asking you to confirm. We will name the provider on this page before that email is sent. If you don't confirm, we delete your address. Later emails come through the same provider, each with an unsubscribe link.

How long

Until the launch and the confirmation email. If you confirm, until you unsubscribe. If you don't, we delete your address.

Analytics and cookies

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. On each page, a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com sends Cloudflare the page address, your browser and operating system versions, and how the page loaded (timings and memory use). It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and builds no personal profiles, so this site has no cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent at any time: write to [email protected], or, from the launch on, use the unsubscribe link in any email. You can also complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.

Changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes.
